The seminar will address the crucial importance of considering the knowledge and experiences of indigenous and family farmers globally, who are on the front lines of the impacts of climate change and environmental degradation, as they strive to survive and provide food for their families and communities. Farmers' perspectives will be presented, illustrating how agroforestry, agroecology and regenerative agriculture methodologies can provide food for the world's population while preserving the natural environment. Additionally, the seminar will examine the contribution of science and research, including the work of the CGIAR, as well as the role of investment and finance, in strengthening these farmers' practices and transforming food systems.
